Fairness

To me, fair has always meant that everyone gets what they need. In addition, in our schools that means that every student also has the same opportunities and a great environment in which to learn.

Welcome

I am excited to announce that I am running for re-election to the Arlington School Committee

My past 3 years on the committee and as a teacher have helped to make me better understand the importance that the role the school committee plays and has deepened my commitment to work to ensure the highest quality of education for our children that Arlington can afford.

I still see the role of school committee member as a conduit of information between the schools and the parents whose children benefit from the schools. From the parents, I plan to gather information, ideas, and feedback and ensure that it gets to the right ears in the school system. From the schools, I want to let the community know what great things are happening and how they can get involved. In addition, I want to help to make the decisions that shape our children’s education for the years to come. I will work hard to understand the challenges we face and find solutions that work for our community.
